    I was struggling with creating a morning routine for a long time. Meera helped me create an intentional and personalized routine consisting of asana, pranayama and mantras.     Definitely recommend you take the opportunity to learn from Meera. I recently attended Meera's weekend-long Pranayama Immersive training so I could better design a pranayama practice for myself and my clients. The training was outstanding! Meera is a thoughtful instructor with a breadth of knowledge that answered all of my questions about the 'how', 'why', and 'what' of this practice. She really emphasizes personalization and the contraindications for each technique so that you feel safe and supported practicing on your own. Throughout the weekend, she guided us various sessions that showed how pranayama can be intentionally integrated with asana and meditation. It was also fun to come up with our own routines and receive insightful feedback to consider the realities of incorporating pranayama into our everyday life.

    Meera is an amazing person who does such a great job of listening, customizing a practice to your needs, and teaching with a non-judgemental lens and demeanor. She is flexible and knowledgeable, and truly cares about passing the knowledge of yoga onto her students. I also really appreciate her non-extractive approach to business and teaching-- it feels very ethical and aware, and I never once felt pressured to buy anything, never once felt like Meera offered anything other than what was best for her clients, and she also wants clients to be informed so she freely passes along knowledge without expectations of return. I think Meera would be a great coach for anyone who is looking to learn more about pranayama and yoga, and I really appreciate her openness, flexibility and truly how customizable her teaching is. I have hand and wrist pain, as well as a longer term knee injury and I really felt taken care of with Meera and felt like she gave me offerings that worked really well for my body. Thanks Meera :)

    I started attending Meera's Personalized Yoga lifestyle bi-weekly coaching sessions virtually late in 2022 and completed the full program in just under 2 months leaving with a customized daily yoga practice. During our time togher, Meera consistently created a welcoming environment that facilitated a deep and engaging learning experience.

    Our sessions were well structured - they included a balanced mix of physical asanas, pranayama (breath regulation), meditation, and philosophical discussions. Our pranayama sessions specifically stood out to me. Meera’s explanation and guidance helped me grasp the importance and power of pranayama in yoga, something I’ve carried into my everyday life. I noticed I am more calm and composed during stressful situations, a direct result of practicing these techniques.

    As an Indian-American immigrant, I resonated with Meera's holistic approach to yoga, which is rooted in traditional Indian philosophy. It was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the yoga classes I have attended in the past and helped me feel more connected to my heritage.

    First and foremost, Meera has completely revolutionized the way I see and practice yoga in many more ways than one! I first started working with Meera almost 2 years ago (I have been practicing for about 10 years now) when she started offering weekly virtual classes during the beginning of the pandemic. This immediately helped me with my mental health using her unique flows, sometimes it almost felt like dancing, to calm my mind as the stress of my tech job began seeping into my personal life.

    Fast forward 6 months and I was so happy to join her studio sessions and workshops in person at Yoga Garden where she went deeper into both the physical (offering outstanding adjustments) and mental (through breath work, meditation, and even chanting!) aspects which continued to help improve my overall wellbeing and even got me through some of the most stressful points of my career to date.

    Fast forward again to today and I'm so excited to have joined her new private 1-1 in-person offering. She has built numerous highly personalized routines and she not only teaches me when we are together but has helped me to build a sustainable self-practice that I use daily. The practice includes a combination of asanas (typical movement poses and flows), pranayama (breath work which has improved both my lung capacity as well as calming the constant chatter in my mind), and chanting (something I had never previously considered and which has allowed me to build more focus into my daily life).

    Meera offers a style of yoga that I have yet to find anywhere else where she conducts a truly holistic practice rather than the traditional, fitness-forward, style which is exactly what I have needed to enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle. I would encourage anyone looking to experience yoga that goes all the way back to its holistic roots to give Meera's sessions a try. Her sessions and style have flipped standard studio yoga on its ear to the point where it has become a major part of my life and has given me a completely new outlook on how I approach my health and wellness and is something I will absolutely carry on for the rest of my life!

    I don't take many yoga classes but Meera does a great job of managing the class for more experienced folks and ones that are new to yoga. She makes sure you are not just keeping up but have the right form. She does a good job of going deeper than the physical aspect but talking and teaching about the metaphysical aspect of yoga and having the right mindset. Highly recommend her classes regardless of what stage you are in!
