Learn More About Meera

Meera is a Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator (E-RYT 500) and a Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) Trainee / Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) Trainee. Her work is rooted in honoring the depth of Eastern wisdom alongside modern mental health practices to support others on their journey back to themselves.

She draws from the Pancha Kosha model, an ancient yogic framework that recognizes five interconnected layers of being: the body, breath (nervous system), mind (emotions), beliefs, and soul. Her integrative approach weaves together cultural knowledge and training in Pranayama, Asana, Meditation, and Eastern philosophy with cognitive and trauma-informed interventions, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and person-centered psychotherapy.

A core pillar of her work is a liberation psychology lens, which acknowledges the impact of social systems and collective pressures, particularly on BIPOC and marginalized communities. Meera believes growth is not just individual, but deeply tied to our relationships, culture and society.

She empowers clients to integrate self-growth and regulation practices into daily life as a path to deeper connection and freedom. Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, identity, or seeking a more embodied spiritual path, Meera meets you where you are with compassion and warmth.
