Meet Your Instructor - Meera Dhawan
Meera Dhawan (500 E-RYT, current M.A. Therapy Student) was first introduced to Pranayama 25 years ago during visits to her grandmother in India. She since has trained in India and the U.S. with teachers who specialize in Yoga and the mind. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Restorative Yoga, has taken workshops in Ayurveda and has a science background as a previous researcher at NASA. Today she hosts numerous workshops, Yoga teacher trainings, and classes on Pranayama to help students and spaceholders integrate Pranayama into their life and work. As a current student getting her masters in therapy, her mission is to empower others to integrate and share Yoga as a tool for the mind.
