My Approach
As a Wellness practitioner...
Meera Dhawan, owner of True To Yoga, is a certified Yoga educator (500 RYT) and therapist-in-training (MFT), blends Eastern and Western practices for holistic health. physical health. Meera, an Indian-American, shares Yoga authentically while emphasizing empowerment through Asana, Pranayama,
Meditation, and philosophy. She conducts workshops, 1:1 sessions, and trains Yoga teachers and service providers. With specialized training in Pranayama, Meditation, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Ayurveda, Meera is pursuing a therapy degree to further supportothers on their journey to inner peace.
Pairing modern science with ancient wisdom
Meera holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Rutgers University and worked at NASA conducting research before transitioning to Artificial Intelligence companies in San Francisco. While working in Corporate America at big tech firms, she deepened her knowledge of Yoga through study in both India and the U.S. Her background uniquely informs her approach, blending modern science with yogic wisdom to address workplace challenges.
Corporate Client Love
“Thoroughly enjoyed Meera's Pranayama breathwork class at work. She began with some light movement to open the chest while explaining what we were going to do and more importantly the benefits. Her instructions were easy to follow and calming. I found the techniques easy to follow and I feel great after - I can definitely see the benefits of Pranayama!!”
Maggic C.
“Meera is so full of knowledge both from her many pieces of training as well as her rich and wise culture. When she shares this knowledge, she does so masterfully, in a way where her students fully understand the information and can feasibly implement her suggestions into their lifestyles immediately. I'd recommend Meera's teachings for anyone interested in living a more balanced life!”
