AGREEMENT OF RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY

True To Yoga | Meera Dhawan

It is your responsibility to inform the instructor of limitations before class begins.

I am excited to assist you in learning and applying Yoga Asana and Pranayama techniques and philosophy to your life! This agreement outlines my policies to ensure clarity in our student-instructor relationship. Please carefully read and sign. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Please review the following terms and ask if you have any questions.

Service Provided

The service provided by the instructor to the client is Pranayama training. Group instruction is a collaborative effort between the client, instructor, and group members aimed at helping students integrate yoga techniques such as Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, and Philosophy into their lives for wellbeing. This service is not intended to diagnose or treat any mental or physical conditions and falls outside the scope of therapy and medical intervention. Services will be delivered through an online course paired with 5 group sessions on Zoom. Yoga Asana and Pranayama are not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.

Personal responsibility

Certain Pranayama techniques may not be advisable or safe for individuals with certain medical conditions. By initialing below, you confirm that you are in good health to participate in this program. Additionally, you agree to disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations to the instructor before class. If you are pregnant, become pregnant, or undergo post-natal surgery, your initial below signifies that you will inform the instructor and obtain guidance from a physician if necessary. The client also acknowledges that they are responsible for deciding whether to practice, and participation is at their own risk. By signing below, I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any present or future claims against True To Yoga, Meera Dhawan, and the organization’s owners, officers, employees, and instructors.

The client assumes full responsibility for their mental, physical, and spiritual health and well-being throughout the course duration. Clients have the autonomy to disregard any suggestions made by the instructor and are entirely responsible for the consequences of any techniques, practices, or philosophy on their lives. It is the client's responsibility to inform the instructor of any conditions, impairments, or injuries relevant to their safety during sessions. If the client experiences any pain or discomfort, they are responsible for listening to their body, discontinuing the activity, and seeking support from the instructor. The client accepts full responsibility for any damages that may arise from participation.

Confidentiality

The instructor pledges to maintain confidentiality regarding all information, except when doing so would jeopardize the health and safety of the client or others. We request that you treat fellow group members with respect during sessions. We also request that you respect confidentiality and avoid sharing information about group members outside of the group. This fosters trust and openness among participants.

Cancellation Policy

The instructor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule group sessions up to twenty-four hours before the appointment without the session being considered missed. An appointment will be deemed missed if the instructor fails to cancel with at least twenty-four hours' notice.

Non-Refundable
