My Background

My yoga journey started with my grandma teaching me pranayama in Chandigarh, India as a little girl. Throughout life, I channeled my granni’s wisdom and started developing a consistent yoga & Sadhana practice that included Asana, meditation, and pranayama. Yoga practice completely transformed my mental, physical, and spiritual health. Today I am motivated to help others find a home within their mind by integrating Yoga into their lifestyle. I have specializations and trainings on on to specialize in trauma-informed yoga, pranayama, and facilitating Yoga meditation.

My Work Today

Some of the work I am currently involved with includes:

  • Work with clients 1:1 to help them integrate Yoga movement, breathing, meditation, and philosophy into their life.

  • Conduct Teacher Trainings and Workshops on Pranayama and Meditation

  • Teach Pranayama classes virtually and in person

  • Currently in graduate school for counseling

My Style

Pairing Modern Science with Yogi’s Wisdom: I graduated college with a degree in material sciences & engineering, paired with a focus on public health. After college, I spent 2 years working as a materials engineer at NASA. My science background has driven my approach to my work in yoga - pairing modern science with yogi’s wisdom.

Personalized Approach: I work with clients 1:1 as I believe that yoga requires customization. Yoga has been passed down from teacher to student for thousands of years as each individual has a unique set of challenges to conquer to find stillness. I approach clients by looking at the factors that prevent them from finding balance, whether physical, emotional, social, or spiritual.

Yoga as a Lifestyle: The way I was first introduced to Yoga is how it is often practiced in India, as a lifestyle. This means finding where to integrate practices into your day. Between meetings, in the mornings, evenings, and before meals, the tools given to us within the Eight Limbs of Yoga can be seamlessly incorporated into your day.
